hi, i’m christine kumiko

(pronounced KOO-mee-koh)

& i’m my mother's daughter.  she passed along to me her love of shoes, books, and black coffee. she also has the best handwriting ever and i like to think i got some of that, too.

i received my first calligraphy kit when i was 9 and started learning modern calligraphy in 2013. designed my first wedding suite in 2016 and have since added more interesting things like mirror and vase seating charts!

as a type-A creative, i studied architecture in college thinking that it would perfectly satisfy both sides of my personality.  but physics is hard, you know?  luckily, i’ve found that combo of beautiful, practical design in calligraphy and i’m stickin’ with it.
